Outfitters :: Memphis

Memphis: Outfitters * March 21st - March 26th
This is the 1st phase of our Church planting missions experiences. It is an exciting partnership which enables us to use basketball, dance, and children’s ministries a means for God's name to be known in an urban community.
Vision: To have year-round partnership with Memphis Athletic Ministries in order that the urban community of Memphis and the students of NWA would see God globally.
Main goals/strategies: To come along side Memphis Athletic Ministries and partake in their everyday relationships that are built in order for Christ to be seen and known. Year-round, urban students also come to NWA to have an experience out of their comfort zone in order to build year long relationships that bridge a gap of missional thinking.
Student sign up limit: Unlimited
Cost: $250 ($125 due on February 22, 2010)

Training Date: February 27th from 6:15pm-8:00pm in the Student Center West.

Trek (10th & 11th) :: Portland

Portland: Trek 10th and 11th * March 23rd - March 28th
This is the 2nd phase of our Church planting missions experience.
Vision: Be a part of a young, new church plant called Bread and Wine in the Alberta Arts district of Portland, Oregon.
Main goals/strategies: Live in host homes among members of Bread and Wine and see what life in their gospel driven community is like. We serve the community of Portland alongside Bread and Wine and learn about missional living in an urban context as we continue to build a relationship with and support this new church.
Student sign up limit: Trip is full
Cost: $750 ($350 due on February 22, 2010)

Training Date: Friday February 19th. More Details to come.

Trek (Seniors) :: Guatemala

Guatemala: Trek Seniors * March 21st - March 28th
This is the 3rd phase of our Church planting missions experiences.
Vision: Be apart of a 5 year church planting experience in the cities of Santa Cruz and La Limonada.
Main goals/strategies: Bring support to Hugo and Susannah (missionary partners) through art education by means of teaching: painting, music, computer skills, dance; and potentially put on a soccer camp for neighboring villages.
Student sign up limit: Trip is full
Cost: $1400 ($700 due on February 22, 2010)
